Peach Wedding Details
When I started Dress for the Wedding, one of the first ideas I had for daily posts was to have the wedding invitation be the central feature of the boards. After all, the wedding invitation gives so much information about the style of wedding you'll be attending, and many clues to the attire both for the wedding party and what might be the best choice as a guest. Here was one of my first "inspired by the invite" collages.
My style of collage has certainly changed, but I'm back to including invitations again. ( I actually only stopped because some invitation companies didn't get back to me when I asked for permission to use their images, but several have granted permission now :)!)
So today's "inspired by the invite" centers around one of my favorite colors and fruits for summer: the peach! I can't wait to grill peaches and put them with vanilla ice cream this summer -- but I digress! The fun peach and blush invitation by Minted has a peach and blush palette with little arrows that give this invitation a little bit of a modern geometric look, but also has a watercolor vibe, and it could also go for a southwestern or rustic event. The little pointed arrows are echoed in the little lace points of that pretty peach dress, and I found some more little accessories to round out your look from everything from your bridesmaids to your table top. I especially love the little favor bags!
