It's still May, and still a great time to focus on dresses for the mothers of the wedding! One of the top questions I get about wedding attire is if it's ok for the mother of the bride to wear a light neutral dress for the wedding. In my opinion, it is! While I recommend that guests stay away from the light champagne and ivory colors that might read as white or cream, for the mother of the bride I think a nice golden or neutral shade is a wonderful way for the mother of the bride to stand out. I always advise that the mother of the bride choose her dress with the bride's guidance, and also to consult with the mother of the groom to make sure their dresses are in harmony but not an exact copy of one another. This dress really is more of a golden neutral, and would be a wonderful choice for a special dress.
