It's been such a long time since I've posted a wedding guest dress idea! I hope those of you holding invitations to late winter weddings haven't felt abandoned.  Soon we'll all be wearing spring colors, but here's one lovely wine-colored cocktail dress for late winter, and early spring weddings!

As much as I'm a sucker for classic, understated pairings like the one wine and gunmetal gray look above, one of my personal goals has been to wear more color, and professionally to show you more colors paired in unexpected ways. So with that in mind, I thought this wine-colored dress could look lovely with a few jewel-toned additions as well. I first had a mustard-colored clutch with it, and it looked really nice, but I thought these jewel emerald greens really popped against the burgundy jacquard print.
