When I first saw this Tadashi Shoji blue one-shoulder gown a few weeks ago, I immediately put it in my list for posts. It's such a pretty gown, the perfect shade of french blue, and I absolutely love how the peplum, one shoulder, and lace styling makes it a very current look, but the overall feel is very classic. It's perfect for a black-tie or formal wedding, but also truly ideal for a mother of the bride or groom.

Blue One Shoulder Peplum Gown for Mother of the Bride

I've styled it here with monochromatic look. As always, blue can always pair with silver, gold, or even another jewel tone color. To keep it monochromatic, I've put blue stone earrings, matching clutch, and that blue statement bracelet. Not only is it ideal for the mother of the bride, but this dress is also perfect for formal weddings, and could even be worn by bridesmaids. I love its versatility!
